Am I the only one who lives right near a lot of their friends and has no idea they're close at hand? I just recently discovered that I live quite close to three of my old friends from Woodhaven. Alicia and Nicole live pretty much on top of me, so I'm not sure how I didn't know that, and Sam lives close enough that I'm surprised I didn't know that either. Sam also happens to be moving in June, which causes me even more frustration because I haven't seen her in years and I want to see her before she leaves, while stupid little me was clueless as to the fact that she lives so close for now. Hopefully this handy bit of information will lead to reunions with people I've sorely missed.
On the subject of birthdays, Stephanie's was yesterday, so a very happy birthday to her. Marcella's is coming up soon and we're going out to celebrate tomorrow, which I'm extremely excited for. I haven't seen her or a lot of my other friends in ages.
Which brings me to my last subject: club attire. We're going to a club for a lovely time of dancing and celebration of the birth of our dear friend, and sad little me has no clue what I should wear. I've never been to what might be considered an actual club before, although I've been to B*Back. But that was just a teen club that we went to in the summer when we wanted to dance on the weekends. So this may be considered my first foray into the adult club scene. I don't think I've ever really thought about clothing this much before, which is truly saying something, seeing as I make clothes and my eventual goal is to be a small-time fashion designer. My sister's advice: jeans and a T-shirt. I was planning on the jeans already; skinny, of course. My new ones from Rue 21. I adore them. Not so sure on the T-shirt score, though. I'm thinking the slinky black top that's also from Rue 21, depending on the weather. If it's as chilly as it seems like it might be, I might opt for the top mumsy got me for Christmas a few years ago. They're both long-sleeved, but the Rue 21 top is made from lighter material. As for a short-sleeved top if weather permits one, I've no idea what to wear. I might go for the see-through black rose-patterned top from Rue 21, with a tank underneath, of course. I haven't worn that one yet. Why does it seem as if all my good clothes are from Rue 21?
